Verity in Slack works like a teammate now
Verity in Slack can now act in Slack, not just answer in it. Ask her for a file and she posts it. Give her a long piece of work and she keeps going. Mention her in a group message and she is there.
Files. "Post the PDF above in #sales." "Give me that list as a CSV." "Send me our tech architecture as a PDF." She posts files from the conversation, NOAN assets, or files she writes on the spot, into any channel you are both in. A PDF she writes is a two-page consolidation of what your facts say, in her own words and your own typefaces, never the facts pasted in. "Keep this contract with the Acme contact" stores a file for your workspace and notes it in NOAN, so "post the kept file" brings it back months later.
Reactions. She marks a message with eyes while she works and a check when done. Ask her to react and she does, with any emoji your workspace has, and a reaction can be her whole answer. Switch on reactions as asks and a brain on any message proposes it as a fact, a pushpin keeps it as a note.
Longer work. Each ask has four minutes and twenty steps. A bigger job continues on its own, with "still working on it" in the thread, up to three rounds. A long reply arrives whole, as a canvas your team can edit, instead of cut short.
Reach. When your facts do not hold the answer, she searches the public web or reads a page, and cites it. An API you connected for Feeds can be read in conversation: "what is MRR in Stripe this morning?", "how many tickets are open in the help desk?" Your people and companies are already in NOAN's Network, so ask about them directly. She joins a public channel when asked, and works in group messages like in a channel.
Still true. No fact is written to NOAN until a named person verifies it. She reads only what each channel may see. In a channel shared with another company she works for your people only. Nothing is sent outside Slack without a connection you set up and a person's yes.
Workspaces installed before today need one reinstall from slack.getnoan.com/install for the new permissions. Everything else stays as it is.
