Verity in Slack: your whole team, your whole workspace

Verity in Slack has grown a lot since she arrived. She now follows the conversation, works your whole NOAN workspace from a channel, coaches sales calls, tells your team what is new in NOAN, and lets the agents you run yourself work through her. Your whole team, wherever she is

Anyone from your company can use Verity in any channel she has been added to, and by direct message, with nothing to set up first. Team interviews and fact alignment are now a separate feature the owner switches on with /verity start; they no longer decide who she answers. Direct messages are always on, so she doubles as support for NOAN itself: ask how something works and she answers from the NOAN product manual.

/verity help shows everything she does, in six areas, with a button that opens each one in full. Owners get the same guide by direct message once.

She follows the conversation

Reply "yes, do that" or "the second one" in a thread and she knows what you mean, because she reads what came before in the thread she is answering in. In a direct message she reads the last 45 minutes. Send her a screenshot or a photo with your question and she looks at it as part of the ask. A file posted for a colleague, with their name on it, is not hers and she stays quiet.

Everything in NOAN, from Slack

Whatever the NOAN API can do, you can now ask for in a channel. Change a task's title, due date, status or details, assign and unassign people, link a contact, and comment on a task. Read a contact in full, add a memo, tag them, or update their role at a company. Read a saved asset and revise it as a new version. List and read notes. Ask what a fact said before and see its earlier versions with their dates. She can also read a channel she is in and post a message for you. Every write is attributed to whoever asked and counted against a daily limit per person.

The button that writes a fact now says Verify, matching the NOAN app. Nothing becomes a fact until a person verifies the exact wording.

A sales coach after every call

Switch it on with /verity coach on. After a sales call synced from Granola, the rep who was on it gets one private card: a scorecard against MEDDIC (or SPIN, BANT or Challenger) with the words from the call that show each element, what the prospect said they need, up to three things to do differently next time, the questions to ask, the risks, and one next step. She reads the call summary, the prospect's public website and your own facts. A second call with the same prospect opens with what moved from missing to covered. The coach never writes anything to NOAN.

What is new in NOAN, in your channel

When NOAN ships something, Verity posts it once in your home channel: the release, two lines on what it means for your company based on your own facts, and a Read more button. /verity updates owner sends it to the owner instead, /verity updates plain drops the personal lines, /verity updates off stops it. Anyone can also ask her "what is new in NOAN?" or "can NOAN do this now?".

Admins

The owner can now share the work. /verity admin add @person gives up to five people everything the owner can do in Slack: every setting, the setup page, and verifying facts. The connected NOAN key stays the owner's, so writes in NOAN are still recorded under the owner's name, and Verity's direct messages about parked work still go to the owner alone.

The agents you run yourself

Two new connections for teams running their own agents on NOAN.

A way into Slack. Mint one relay token on the setup page and any agent you run can post, and optionally read, in your Slack as Verity by setting two values. No Slack app of its own and no bot token. It works only in channels she is already in, never in a direct message, with rate limits and an audit line for every call.

A handoff. Run /verity agents on <name or email> and when someone asks for work she cannot do herself, such as email, analytics, research or a longer job, she puts a task on your NOAN board for your agents, tells the person who has it, and your agents answer in the same thread. Replies in that thread steer the work. Each one is carried onto the task signed, naming who really said it, so only the people you named as commanders can release a customer email with "send it".
