NOAN’s project management system is designed to be the backbone of your workflow—combining a powerful Kanban board with an AI assistant that understands your business. Here’s how to get the most out of it.
1. Navigating Your Priorities
- Where to Find:
On the right side of your NOAN workspace, you’ll see your priorities widget. - What It Does:
Highlights overdue and upcoming tasks (e.g., tasks in red are overdue). - Assistant Integration:
The assistant knows your priorities and can surface them on demand.
2. Exploring the Task Board (Kanban View)
- Access:
Click into the Task Board for a classic Kanban experience. - Manual or AI-Driven:
- Add tasks manually with “Add Task.”
- Or, ask the assistant to create tasks for you.
- Drag & Drop:
Move tasks between columns (Backlog, In Progress, Done) to reflect real progress.
3. Creating and Managing Tasks
- Task Details:
- Set a title and description.
- Assign a due date.
- Add tags (e.g., “Customer Success”—create new tags on the fly).
- Assign team members.
- Assistant-Created Tasks:
The assistant can generate tasks with all details included—just ask.
4. The Power of Tags
- Why Tags Matter:
Tags let you filter and “cut” your board by department or function (e.g., Marketing, Customer Success). - Single Board, Multiple Views:
No need for multiple boards—just filter by tag to see what matters to you.
5. Letting the Assistant Do the Heavy Lifting
- Natural Language Commands:
- Ask, “What are my priorities today?” to get a list of urgent tasks.
- Instruct, “Add a new task to onboard customer David Smith, due Friday, assign Daniel, tag Customer Success, status In Progress.”
- Task Updates:
- Mark tasks as complete by telling the assistant, “Mark this task as completed and move to done.”
- Bulk Actions:
- Upload notes or documents and ask the assistant to turn them into tasks—split or merge as needed.
6. Advanced Tips
- Assistant as a Team Member:
Treat the assistant like a smart employee—give clear, structured instructions using the language of the app. - Automate from Notes:
After a call, ask the assistant to review memos and create tasks automatically. - Flexible Task Creation:
The assistant can handle single or multiple tasks, adapting to your workflow.
7. Why NOAN’s Approach Is Different
- Unified Board:
One Kanban board for your whole business—no more juggling multiple boards. - AI-Native:
The assistant understands, updates, and manages tasks for you. - Seamless Collaboration:
Assign tasks, filter by tags, and keep everyone aligned—whether solo or with a team.
With NOAN, project management becomes conversational, flexible, and deeply integrated with your business knowledge. Start by talking to your assistant - soon, you’ll be running your entire workflow with natural language.
Ready to try?
Jump into your NOAN workspace and ask the assistant:
“What are my priorities today?”
