Behind the Scenes: How I Used NOAN’s Beta Natural Language Workflow to Automate Outbound Sales

Discover how NOAN’s beta natural language workflow automates outbound sales—no manual entry, just describe your goal and let AI handle the rest.

I want to take you behind the curtain and show you something wild I’ve been testing in NOAN’s beta: a fully automated outbound sales workflow, powered entirely by natural language. This isn’t available to everyone yet, but I think it’s a glimpse into the future of how founders and teams will work.

The Experiment: Can I Run Outbound Sales with Just My Words?

Here’s what happened. I worked with NOAN’s assistant to build out a 12-step outbound sales process—no drag-and-drop, no manual data entry, just describing what I wanted to happen. Here’s how it played out:

1. I Gave the Assistant a Company URL

I started by telling the assistant the company I wanted to target. That was it—no forms, no spreadsheets.

2. The Assistant Did the Research

It automatically:

  • Searched the company website for key personnel and business info
  • Ran a general web search for extra details
  • Checked for subsidiaries
  • Searched LinkedIn for the company and its team

3. It Found the Best-Fit Employee

Using flexible name matching, the assistant identified the most relevant contact for outreach and cross-checked the info across sources.

4. It Found the Right Email

No more guessing or hunting—NOAN surfaced the best email address for the lead.

5. It Created a Contact in NOAN

With a single command, the assistant created a new contact profile and added a memo summarizing all the research.

6. It Scored the Lead

NOAN used our target audience criteria to score the lead out of 5, so I knew if they were a good fit.

7. It Listed Objections and Use Cases

The assistant anticipated what might hold the lead back from using NOAN and highlighted how we could help.

8. It Drafted and Sent the Outreach Email

If the lead scored above a 2, the assistant drafted and sent a targeted outreach email—using our pre-set structure and signature.
I checked my outbox, and there it was: a crisp, on-brand email, tailored to the lead, ready to go.

Why This Blew My Mind

  • No drag-and-drop. No manual data entry.
  • All my business knowledge and facts were used automatically.
  • Every step was transparent—I could see the workflow as it happened.
  • Emails were on-brand, on-message, and sent instantly.

This is what an AI-native workflow looks like: you describe what you want, and the assistant does the rest. It’s not just faster—it’s smarter, more consistent, and totally scalable.

What’s Next?

This feature is still in beta, and we’re refining it with feedback from early testers. If you’re as excited as I am about the future of natural language workflows, let me know what you’d want to automate next. Your ideas are shaping what NOAN becomes.

Thanks for being part of this journey.
