Working in NOAN’s Facts or Create Mode unlocks a powerful, context-aware assistant—ready to help you refine, research, and update your business knowledge or assets with ease. Here’s how to get the most out of your assistant in these modes:
1. Your Conversations Follow You
Whenever you open the assistant in Facts or Create Mode, your previous conversations from the Workspace come with you. This means you never lose context—your assistant remembers what you’ve been working on and can pick up right where you left off.
2. Focusing the Assistant on a Specific Fact or Asset
If you want the assistant to know exactly which fact or asset you’re working on:
- Start a New Conversation in the assistant panel.
- The assistant will now be “locked in” to the fact or asset you’re editing.
- Give clear, specific instructions about what you want to change, add, or research.
Tip: The assistant in Facts or Create Mode is the same as in your Workspace—so it can access all your business knowledge, notes, documents, and even search the web for you.
3. Pulling in Details or Research
Need to add data, quotes, or references to your fact or asset?
Just ask the assistant! For example:
- “Find the latest stats on AI adoption and add them to the second paragraph.”
- “Pull a quote from our ‘Brand Positioning’ document and insert it at the end.”
- “Search the web for a recent case study on remote team productivity and summarize it here.”
The assistant can recall information from your uploaded documents, search your notes, or even look up real-time web results—all within the context of your current fact or asset.
4. Be Clear and Direct in Your Instructions
To get the best results:
- Specify exactly what you want changed (e.g., “Replace the third paragraph with this new version” or “Add a bullet point under ‘Key Benefits’”).
- Indicate where you want new content to appear.
- Ask for rewrites, summaries, or expansions as needed.
5. Using the “Replace Your Content with This” Button
After the assistant generates a response, look for the little block icon under its reply labeled “replace your content with this.”
- Click this button to instantly update your fact or asset with the assistant’s suggestion.
- This saves time and ensures your edits are applied exactly as you want.
6. Remember: The Assistant is Your All-in-One Partner
- It can recall and insert information from your documents, notes, or network.
- It can search the web for up-to-date data or examples.
- It can help you brainstorm, rewrite, or polish any section of your fact or asset.
